Aberdeen Office cleaning companies

Aberdeen Office Cleaning was established to provide a high quality cleaning service throughout the Aberdeen area. We have since then discovered that the majority of cleaning companies in the Aberdeen area have developed a bad reputation for letting customers down.

The main complaints we have heard from businesses we have spoken with relate to issues such:

  • Cleaning staff not turning up on time for the office clean. Imagine if that were to happen to you when you had a major new customer visiting to discuss a new contract. What would be their first impression when they approach the building? First impressions count a lot in business — don't they?

  • By the way that is another reason our cleaning staff wear clean smart uniforms and ID Badges whenever they are on a customers premises.

  • Standards not being met to the customers satisfaction. As the Facility Manager you know just how much complaints from your own staff about cleaners can soak up your time and lead to a pitched battles about what is reasonable and what can be achieved. We draw up a cleaning schedule based on the most important issues for you and your staff and we stick to it!

  • We will even provide a means by which you and your staff can truly measure the quality of the cleaning standards. This means an end to those judgmental views with one office worker saying it is not satisfactory when they don't know what is expected from the cleaners. Wouldn't that simple exercise by us make life easier and less stressful for you?

  • Even we were surprised by this next complaint about some Aberdeen Cleaning Companies! Office managers were having to take time out to put cleaners equipment and tools away. There can be no doubt about it that is the cleaners job. But in their rush to get to the next job they did not even do a final walk round of their own area and see the chemicals and dirty mops left out. We schedule workloads so cleaners are not going direct to another job before they have finished yours. No more half finished cleans in your office. No more cleaning up for you to do...

  • When we visit your company office we will be discussing ways slight changes to the cleaning schedule can save you hundreds or thousands of pounds (dependant on big your offices are of course) on floor replacement costs. Using the wrong techniques to clean can damage your floors and lead to earlier replacements. Our floor maintenance plans rather than just cleaning plans will save you money.

Our style of cleaning your office sounds good to you, doesn't it?

Interesting fact on Kingdom of Alba

Did you know Alba was one of the old names for Scotland? Actually the Kingdom of Alba only existed in theory rather than practice and has become known in more modern times only because Donald II (also known as Domnall mac Causantin) was described as King of Alba after his death.

It seems to have died out after the death of Alexander III in 1286. The name Alba is one of convenience, as throughout this period the elite and populace of the Kingdom were predominantly Gaelic, or later Gaelic and Scoto-Norman, and differs markedly from the period of the Stewarts, in which the elite of the kingdom were for the most part speakers of English or Lowland Scots.

In those days even more than now the people of Alba stood for hard work and a strong ethical values (even if that did sometimes allow Scots to steal cattle from neighbouring clans).

We work to keep those old fashioned Kingdom of Alba standards and ensure those strong ethical stances are adopted in all our cleaning contracts. However we never led any attacks to steal cattle from any local clans. The motto for the Thomson clan is "Honesty is the best policy" and I support it.

On a personal point in the past I have been been a contributor to both a book on workplace ethics in public bodies and a number of articles in professional magazines as well as speaking regularly on the need for governance in the workplace. I look to continue practicing workplace ethics.
