Insurance Policies and Cleaning Service Companies

Our Insurance Policy is not intended to only cover the bare minimum required by law.  All Professional Office Cleaning Service Companies and other Aberdeen office cleaning companies who are not so professional are required to have that type of cover and display their insurance certificate in your premises. (We tend to use inside the cleaning cupboard.)

Aberdeen Office Cleaning company will display the certificate of insurance in every premises we do work that shows we are covered for:-

  • Employers Liability Up to £10,000, 000
  • Public and Products Liability of up to £5,000,000

This cleaning service company policy has been extended for us to include

  • Treatment cover
  • Damage to property held in Trust of up to £10,000
  • Financial Loss up to £50,000
  • Loss of keys and consequential loss of up to £50,000
  • Misuse of customers telephones of up to £10,000
  • Fidelity Bonding of up to £25,000

Can your present office cleaning service company say the same?

The above policy terms is in recognition that we we are often providing a cleaning service in our customers premises when they are not present.  We want to ensure our customers are able to be fully covered in the event of any incident involving our cleaning staff.

Naturally we do not want to make a claim on the policy — and so far have never had to do so  — so we ensure all cleaning service  staff are fully trained in all elements of applicable health and safety guidance.

But lets take an imaginary case where one of our office cleaners is cleaning an office floor and one of your staff trips over a vacuum cleaner wire.  We know that we have taken all necessary precautions to safeguard them by using safety warning signs in the room being cleaned etc to stop the accident happening in the first place.  However we do not want anyone to suffer financial loss so our office cleaning service insurance is there for additional protection.

Our managers and mobile supervisors are fully trained in all aspects of cleaning whether office cleaning or industrial contract cleaning.  Their own induction on being appointed as cleaning managers ensured they know not just about the best cleaning techniques for each area and surface but also how to do full competent risk assessments and ensure people are following the right procedures every time they visit.
